What are the rules in the way you dress?

I dress in a quite simple way, however I usually have one thing that draws attention. For example, I could wear black cropped skinny jeans and a black pullover with a Gucci logo bag just to make some noise.

Please describe your style in three words.

Casual. Cool. Feminine.

What is the biggest mistake one can make when getting dressed?

Not thinking about the shape of their body.

Do you believe in role models?

Yes, but with a hint of salt… being inspired by a person's style and attitude is very different to copying their lifestyle as well.

What are your favourite fabrics?

Denim and merino wool.

Are there any style combinations that you object to?

I think I'm pretty open to everything.

Which city has the best-dressed women?

Paris! Their style is rather basic, but at the same time they manage to have a perfect balance between feminine and masculine.

Would you say that you are conservative or bold?

Bold, I think.

Celebrities and style...

Can be quite confusing. Being a celebrity does not mean that you have great style.

Name one garment/accessory that you can never have enough of?

Shoes!

A woman should always look like…

She's confident and goes out with a big smile.

Who taught you what you know about style?

My self. Don't assume that I actually know that much. I just wear what I like.

How do you select your clothing every morning?

I always choose my shoes first. Is it raining, can I wear suede, and so on. I take it from there and then build my outfit around this.

What is your biggest regret?

I don't have any... sometimes I regret that I didn't get a special pair of shoes or something like that, but it never lasts for long.

The three essential things a woman should know about style are…

It can't be bought. Great style starts with a nice attitude. Personality can bring out much more than style.

Do you have any shopping rituals?

I always shop alone... But a good advice is to plan ahead and know what you're looking for by checking, for example, old street style photos, and so on. It will make you search for items that are not necessarily on trend, and your look will have a more personal vibe.

We will never see you wearing...

Never say never, but flare jeans never suited me.

Which new designers do you follow and why?

That's rather difficult to answer. But Vetements is super cool, it has so much edge, and it's all relaxed and feminine at the same time.

Who is the most stylish person you have ever seen?

I love Gilda Ambrosio. Also Veronika Heilbrunner. Both are masters of the contrast of being feminine and casual but cool at the same time.

What is the first thing you notice on a woman?

Her hair.

What are the most treasured items in your wardrobe?

My shoes and my bags.

The one image that defined your approach to style...

That's a tough one... I love Camilla Åkrans' universe. Soft and feminine.

Which fashion house never fails to impress you?

Stella McCartney, Céline and Louis Vuitton; did you see their new resort collection? Just wow!

Is comfort an enemy of style?

Definitely not. Comfort comes before anything!

Who would you like to recommend for My Style?

Thora Valdimarsdóttir, fashion director at Costume Magazine Denmark.

The best words of advice you have ever heard?

Be happy!
