The most stylish person you have ever seen...

There is not one specific person. I think there are a lot of people who have great personal style like Aerin Lauder, Queen Rania, Lauren Santa Domingo and Elizabeth Saltzman. For a man, well, who can resist Tom Ford!

Please describe your style in three words.

Feminine and classic with a modern twist.

What is the biggest mistake one can make when getting dressed?

Not wearing the correct undergarments. Simple rules make an outfit, like wearing seamless lingerie when wearing fitted clothes or wearing nude lingerie when wearing white.

Do you believe in role models?

I don’t think anyone is perfect. There are people that I admire like the Aga Khan, Obama, and Oprah.

Which city has the best-dressed women?

There are well dressed women around the world.

Would you say that you are conservative or bold?

More on the conservative side.

What are the rules, if any, in the way you dress?

I just know what I feel comfortable in and styles that suit my body. I stick to that.

One garment/accessory that you can never have enough of?

SHOES!

Who taught you what you know about style?

I always looked up to my older sister. She is beautiful and tall. Things always looked fabulous on her from a sari to jeans. I guess that was my starting point growing up.

How do you select your clothing every morning?

Depending on my schedule and weather.

Do you have any shopping rituals?

I enjoy shopping by myself. Usually in the mornings when it’s quiet, and a Starbucks latte, and I’m good to go!

We will never see you wearing...

Ugg boots.

What is the first thing you notice on a woman?

I think shoes can make or break an outfit, so probably the feet and work up.

Is comfort an enemy of style?

No. If clothing is well-cut and good quality it can be comfortable.

The best word of advice you have ever heard?

Tom Ford once said there is “no such thing as no. When a wall is up, find different ways to go through it — under, over, the side.”
