The three essential things a woman should know about style are…

Style is a combination of spontaneity, confidence and authenticity.

Please describe your style in three words.

Bohemian, casual, and chic.

What is the biggest mistake one can make when getting dressed?

To stop being yourself by imitating others.

Do you believe in role models?

Yes, as a source of inspiration.

What are your favourite fabrics?

Pure cotton and washed silk.

Are there any style combinations that you object to?

I am not very keen on the sandals and socks combination.

Which city has the best-dressed women?

Paris, definitely. I’m a big fan of the 'chaotic chic' vibes you get there.

Would you say that you are conservative or bold?

It depends on my mood really, however, I would say “bold”.

What are the rules in the way you dress?

I don’t believe in rules. I trust my feelings and depend on them whether I am dressing up in one way or another.

Celebrities and style...

They are not always a safe bet.

Name one garment/accessory that you can never have enough of?

A woman should always look like…

She is self-confident and happy!

Who taught you what you know about style?

My mum, the music I listen to, and the people I meet and see in the street.

How do you select your clothing every morning?

It depends on the way I feel that morning… and I always start with my underwear.

What is your biggest regret?

I don’t think that I regret anything, as I always learn from my mistakes.

Do you have any shopping rituals?

I just try to enjoy it! ;)

We will never see you wearing...

Cowboy boots.

Which new designers do you follow and why?

Chloé, I adore the romanticism of their collections. Céline, for their balance between minimalism and femininity. Isabel Marant, for the perfect combination between hippy and chic.

Who is the most stylish person you have ever seen?

That would be one of my best friends, she is so smart!

What is the first thing you notice on a woman?

Her hands.

What are the most treasured items in your wardrobe?

All of my vintage coats.

The one image that defined your approach to style...

Jane Birkin wearing a big smile, a pair of jeans, a white T-shirt and carrying a wicker bag.

Which designer never fails to impress you?

Chloé, the delicacy and movement of their garments captivate me.

One article of clothing that a woman needs to pay close attention to is…

It's always her shoes!

Is comfort an enemy of style?

No, in fact they should be good friends.

Who would you like to recommend for My Style?

My great friend and incredible woman Olga Lecina, fashion consultant and CEO of The Crew Studio Barcelona.

The best words of advice you have ever heard?

Always be yourself.
