Please describe your style in three words.

Clean, traditional, street.

What is the biggest mistake one can make when getting dressed?

Overthinking it.

Do you believe in role models?

Absolutely.

What are your favourite fabrics?

I think I would say cashmere, I love its luxurious feel.

Are there any style combinations that you object to?

When you are wearing sportswear stick to one brand, I am not a fan of mixing sportswear.

Which city has the best-dressed men?

London, of course.

Would you say that you are conservative or bold?

I am a mixture of both.

What are the rules in the way you dress?

It all depends as there are different rules for different circumstances. I guess my rule is that you have to be adaptable.

Celebrities and style...

Mix likes flies and shit.

Name one garment/accessory that you can never have enough of?

Trainers.

A man should always look like…

He is wearing his clothes, and not the other way around.

Who taught you what you know about style?

My dad has always made me want to dress well. I think it's been a combination of him and my environment over the years.

How do you select your clothing every morning?

I look out the window, open up my cupboard and find something that suits both my mood and the weather.

What is your biggest regret?

It's not really a regret, but I do wish I was 6ft 1”!

The three essential things a man should know about style are…

Know how to tie his own tie, invest in essentials, and adapt his style to individual circumstances.

Do you have any shopping rituals?

Not really, I shop everywhere at any time.

We will never see you wearing...

Never say never.

The most stylish person you have ever seen...

Pharrell Williams. From the red carpet to the studio or before a flight, he is stylish in every situation. And I have seen him in all of those situations.

What is the first thing you notice on a man?

His shoes.

The one image that defined your approach to style...

It's hard to pin point one single image. My style has been defined by so many things over the years.

Which new designers do you follow and why?

Lee Roach, because he is ambitious. I like his modern approach to high-end design.

The only article of clothing that a man needs to pay close attention to is…

His trousers.

What are the most treasured items in your wardrobe?

My denim jacket.

Is comfort an enemy of style?

Not at all!

Which fashion house never fails to impress you?

Burberry never fails to impress me; their shows are spot on season after season. In terms of everyday shopping, Acne never fails to tempt me.

Who would you like to recommend for My Style?

Reggie Yates.

The best words of advice you have ever heard?

"A tree is the only thing that will stay stood still when it knows it is going to be chopped down". My dad said this once and it has stuck with me. I think it means that when you get a warning, move on it and take action.
