What is the biggest mistake one can make when getting dressed?
It’s hardly a matter of making mistakes or not, as long as you express yourself in a sincere way and not take yourself too seriously (after all, we are talking about dresses!).
Please describe your style in three words.
Tailored, eclectic and always chic.
Do you believe in role models?
I believe more in external inspirations than having a unique role model. It’s more interesting and more helpful in stimulating your creativity and curiosity.
What are your favourite fabrics?
Silk, rough wool, and cashmere.
Are there any style combinations that you object to?
Not really…I believe in having no rules in fashion. For myself I prefer the “less is more” approach.
Which city has the best-dressed women?
Milan, without doubt.
Would you say that you are conservative or bold?
Conservative (but not boring, I hope).
What are the rules in the way you dress?
The only rule I have is to wake up in the morning and wear something that makes me feel happy, at ease, feminine and edgy.

What a combination! It can always work as a terrific marketing tool in order to build up brand awareness and image.
Name one garment/accessory that you can never have enough of?
Accessories, but mainly bags and rings.

Sophisticated.
Who taught you what you know about style?
My grandmother. She is Parisian but has been living in Italy since she was young. That’s why she blended an Italian touch with French style; a simple but sophisticated elegance came out.
How do you select your clothing every morning?
I start by selecting the right accessories and then build the rest of the outfit around them.
What is your biggest regret?
Having lost so much time in my life thinking I was not beautiful enough to wear designer dresses. In the end, who cares!

Style is not a matter of how much money you spend, nor the designers you wear. It’s a way of being. Style is a matter of being classy, chic and contemporary.

No, I don’t.

Which new designers do you follow and why?
Starting with the established ones, Oscar de la Renta because his clothes make me dream as soon as I put them on. Among the new ones, Andrea Incontri is who I prefer the most because his collections are contemporary but timeless, and always very elegant.
Who is the most stylish person you have ever seen?
Diana Vreeland.
What is the first thing you notice on a woman?
Her manicure and if it is well kept or not; it's a must have detail to be chic. After that, her shoes.
What are the most treasured items in your wardrobe?
An Au Jour Le Jour T-shirt, Giannico shoes, a Daniele Carlotta dress and a marvellous vintage fur coat that belongs to my grandmother.

There isn't a single image that has defined my style; I’ve learned from all the elegance and style which has surrounded me working in the fashion industry for more than twelve years.

Karl Lagerfeld, who is not just a 'fashion designer', but also a genius.

Her whole figure, it must always be harmonious.
Is comfort an enemy of style?
It could be for some people, but not in my case. If something is uncomfortable, it’s not my thing.
