Q: What are the rules, if any, in the way you dress?

I always coordinate my shoes or socks to what I am wearing on top. Everything on top must be tucked in. None of that messy hanging out, and a belt for every trouser.

Q: What is the biggest mistake one can make when getting dressed?

Putting your briefs on back to front, and only noticing when attempting to go to the toilet.

Q: Do you believe in role models?

Definitely.

Q: What are your favorite fabrics?

Natural ones with super modern weaving technology and finishing that makes an extremely modern finished article.

Q: Are there any style combinations that you object to?

For me, contradictions and wrongness make a right.

Q: Which city has the best-dressed men?

Paris.

Q: Would you say that you are conservative or bold?

I’m a bit of both in equal measures.

Q: Celebrities and style…

Do they go together?

Q: One garment/accessory that you can never have enough of?

The belt.

Q: A man should always look like…

A man.

Q: Who taught you what you know about style?

Myself.

Q: How do you select your clothing every morning?

To represent what I want to say for the day: authority, charming, excited, solemn.

Q: Your biggest regret is…

Forgetting my Mum’s birthday in 2005.

Q: The three essential things a man should know about style are…

It’s not just about clothing. Style is how you compose yourself; it’s etiquette and it’s expression.

Q: Do you have any shopping rituals?

Late-night Amazon.com therapy.

Q: We will never see you wearing…

Black.

Q: The most stylish person you have ever seen/met…

I have two super stylish people I can’t get enough of and that would be Mr. Robert Rabensteiner (L’uomo Vogue) and Mr. Julian Ganio (Ponystep magazine).

Q: What is the first thing you notice on a man?

Hands.

Q: Is comfort an enemy of style?

Oh yes, I’m thinking to begin a campaign to clean up the streets. Let’s bring back the man, lose the T.

Q: The best word of advice you have ever heard?

To know where you came from, and think about where you are going.
