The three essential things a woman should know about style are...

Know your imperfections. Know your best assets. Take fashion with a pinch of salt.

Please describe your style in three words.

Less is more.

What is the biggest mistake one can make when getting dressed?

Overthinking it.

Do you believe in role models?

Yes, my mother. No matter what she’s been through, she always has a positive outlook on life.

What are your favourite fabrics?

Cashmere and crisp cottons.

Are there any style combinations that you object to?

Too much of the same with the same. Actually, too much of anything.

Which city has the best-dressed women?

Paris.

Would you say that you are conservative or bold?

Conservative.

What are the rules in the way you dress?

Knowing your body and wearing what you wear with confidence.

Celebrities and style...

Don’t always go together.

Name one garment/accessory that you can never have enough of?

Jewellery.

A woman should always look like...

She is natural. There is nothing more beautiful than seeing a woman that looks good effortlessly.

Who taught you what you know about style?

My grandmother.

How do you select your clothing every morning?

Based on my mood.

What is your biggest regret?

Giving away my great grandmother’s vintage Callot Soeurs dresses.

Do you have any shopping rituals?

I always do it online.

We will never see you wearing...

My hair up.

Which new designers do you follow and why?

Basil Soda, Crow's Nest Jewellery, Corlette.

Who is the most stylish person you have ever seen?

My grandmother.

What is the first thing you notice on a woman?

Her demeanour and posture.

What are the most treasured items in your wardrobe?

My grandmother's vintage Chanel bag.

The one image that defined your approach to style...

Ralph Lauren.

Which fashion house never fails to impress you?

Alaia and of course de Grisogono.

One article of clothing that a woman needs to pay close attention to is...

Her underwear.

Is comfort an enemy of style?

Not necessarily… if you have good taste.

Who would you like to recommend for €œMy Style€?

My father.

The best words of advice you have ever heard?

"The only thing really worth doing is what we do for others."
