Please describe your style in three words.

Feminine, sportive, chic.

What is the biggest mistake one can make when getting dressed?

Making too much of an effort.

Do you believe in role models?

Role models can give you a kick in a good direction and inspire you.

What are your favourite fabrics?

Silk, loden, cashmere, and merinos.

Are there any style combinations that you object to?

Not really.

Which city has the best-dressed women?

Paris, of course: a great mixture of different ethnicities and different approaches to style.

Would you say that you are conservative or bold?

Bold on one hand, conservative on the other, regarding moral and human values.

What are the rules, if any, in the way you dress?

There aren’t really, but yes, I love colour.

Celebrities and style...

This celebrity thing is getting a bit crazy, but where else do you see beautiful Hollywood diva gowns like on the red carpet?

One garment/accessory that you can never have enough of?

Jackets, scarves, sunglasses.

A woman should always look like...

Chic.

Who taught you what you know about style?

My eyes.

How do you select your clothing every morning?

Depending on the mood and occasion.

Your biggest regret is...

Not having bought the clothes that I was in love with at that moment.

The three essential things a woman should know about style are...

Dare, be proud, and be graceful.

Do you have any shopping rituals?

I scout for a long time; the actual buy takes a second.

We will never see you wearing...

Mini-skirts and belly tops.

The most stylish person you have ever seen...

Prince.

What is the first thing you notice on a woman?

The way she moves and talks.

What are the most treasured items in your wardrobe?

Some evening gowns and my jacket collection.

The one image that defined your approach to style...

As a child, Madonna, and Gena Rowlands in Opening Night (1977).

Which fashion house never fails to impress you?

Balenciaga.

One article of clothing that a woman needs to pay close attention to is...

Her jackets.

Is comfort an enemy of style?

Not necessarily.
