What is the biggest mistake one can make when getting dressed?

Not feeling comfortable in what you wear, as some people try too much. I like both minimalistic and eccentric-over-the-top styles, but the important thing is that it needs to feel real. No one likes a faker.

Please describe your style in three words.

Modern, urban, and effortless.

Do you believe in role models?

Of course, a role model is a source of inspiration.

What are your favourite fabrics?

Denim, cotton and wool; nothing extravagant.

Are there any style combinations that you object to?

Not really, but please, avoid fur if you can. Think about all those cute little animals.

Would you say that you are conservative or bold?

Both! It depends on which side of the bed I wake up on.

Celebrities and style...

I think we all should be very happy that most celebrities have got stylists working for them.

Name one garment/accessory that you can never have enough of?

Socks, they just keep disappearing! Where do they all go?

A woman should always look like...

Herself.

Which city has the best-dressed women?

Well, I could answer Stockholm on this one. The Swedes are extremely stylish, at least in the capital, but I've also heard that Shibuya in Tokyo has got beautiful inhabitants.

What are the rules in the way you dress?

No rules, but I like black, grey and white. At the moment I dress very simple and minimalistic, but I always change.

Who taught you what you know about style?

I guess my sister. She moved to New York when I was a kid and I always looked up to her very much. Her style icon and role model was Pippi Longstocking; she had long red braids back then, just like Pippi.

How do you select your clothing every morning?

Feeling, feeling, feeling. Is there any other way?

We will never see you wearing...

You can never say never. I've learnt that...

Which new designers do you follow and why?

Katie Gallagher. I like her juxtaposition between sporty and gothic.

Who is the most stylish person you have ever seen?

In real life, Sarah Moon. Other than that, Nico.

What is the first thing you notice on a woman?

Her eyes, nose, mouth...also her eyebrows. Eyebrows are important.

What are the most treasured items in your closet?

My cat. He takes naps in there.

The one image that defined your approach to style...

I don't have one image that defines my approach, I am constantly working with our mood boards and images, so I can't choose just one...I love images by Ellen Von Unwerth, Irving Penn and Mario Sorrenti.

What is your biggest regret?

Not sure I have any...that I'd like to share at least! ;) Oh, maybe tanning too much while I was a teen.

The three essential things a woman should know about style are...

It can't be bought, copying is a form of flattery and flattering, but most important, know your body.

Do you have any shopping rituals?

I usually shop by myself or with my mom. Shopping with friend's has never been my thing. I don't really care for anyone else's opinion when I shop, except maybe my mom's.

Which fashion house never fails to impress you?

Saint Laurent and Comme des Garçons, it's hard to decide.

One article of clothing that a woman needs to pay close attention to is...

Her stockings and socks!

Is comfort an enemy of style?

Not at all.

Who would you like to recommend for My Style?
