Which new designers do you follow and why?

I have always loved Rag & Bone and Engineered Garments. I love designers and companies that put out quality products and good fits. I could sit here and name a dozen off the top of my head.

Please describe your style in three words.

Classic, polished, and relaxed.

What is the biggest mistake one can make when getting dressed?

Not being confident with their selections.

Do you believe in role models?

Of course! I wouldn't be the person I am today if I didn't have people to look up to — and still look up to.

Are there any style combinations that you object to?

For me personally, yes, but style is all up to the individual.

Which city has the best-dressed men?

New York and London. Although there's something to be said of 'beach city' style…

Would you say that you are conservative or bold?

When it comes to my style, I'm a melting pot…We can throw conservative and bold in there, amongst many, many other things.

What are the rules, if any, in the way you dress?

It's keeping things balanced.

Celebrities and style...

Are not synonymous with one another. Individuals and style, now that's a different story.

One garment/accessory that you can never have enough of?

Aside from Miansai? My 1948 Rolex and Levi's.

A man should always look like...

He's put together, but not trying too hard.

Who taught you what you know about style?

No one really taught me, per se — my sisters provided a bit of foundation when I was young, but it's something I've picked up upon.

How do you select your clothing every morning?

By opening my closet. It's not really something I put much thought into because I know what I own and what I like to wear.

What is your biggest regret?

I don't have regrets, but I've definitely learned some lessons throughout my life. We all have, right? That's the point of living and experiencing new things.

The three essential things a man should know about style are...

Keep it simple but don't be afraid to try new things, be true to yourself.

Do you have any shopping rituals?

I'm not the kind of guy that sets out on shopping trips. I tend to do my shopping when I see/hear of something I like.

We will never see you wearing...

Something I don't feel comfortable in.

What is the first thing you notice on a man?

His watch.

The only article of clothing that a man needs to pay close attention to is...

His underwear, got to start with the essentials.

What are the most treasured items in your wardrobe?

My dad's army jacket from Vietnam that was passed down to me.

Is comfort an enemy of style?

Never.

The best words of advice you have ever heard?

If you're afraid to fail, you'll never succeed.
