Not knowing your body type.

There are some style icons who can provide inspiration, but your own style lays the way to finding yourself.

What are your favourite fabrics?

Cashmere, embroidery, and faux furs.

Are there any style combinations that you object to?

Wearing things that make you become a caricature of yourself.

Would you say that you are conservative or bold?

I'm a dreamer.

Celebrities and style...

Talent should be compared to and supported by style.

Name one garment/accessory that you can never have enough of?

Everything from Chanel.

A woman should always look…

Perfumed.

How do you select your clothing every morning?

It's difficult to put my jeans aside when selecting my outfit, so I often force myself not to start with them whilst preparing the look for the day ahead.

Who taught you what you know about style?

My life experiences and my passion. And all the talented people that I have had the good fortune of meeting.

What is your biggest regret?

We have to go on without regrets.

Do you have any shopping rituals?

We will never see you wearing...

Never say never, but probably real fur.

Which new designers do you follow and why?

Alexander Wang; I like his style, his shapes, and his choice of fabrics.

Her healthy skin, her scented hair and her shoes.

What are the most treasured items in your wardrobe?

Jeans and tuxedo trousers.

The one image that defined your approach to style...

Oh my God, that would have to be images from Charlotte Rampling in “The Night Porter” and Romy Schneider in “Boccaccio '70”.

One article of clothing that a woman needs to pay close attention to is…

Her lingerie and her shoes.

Is comfort an enemy of style?

Yes, some women are terribly unable to walk in high heels.
