Q: What are the rules, if any, in the way you dress?
No rules but only using black, white, grey and navy.

Q: Which designer never fails to impress you?
Hermès for their technique and beautiful pieces and COS for doing the best affordable clothing—but I also hate COS for not selling online and having such limited distribution. Damn you!

Q: Do you have any shopping rituals?
I must go to Paris to hit the boutiques and walk the streets for inspiration. Every season in New York, I shop at Barneys, Bergdorf Goodman and Jeffrey for shoes. I always place a personal order at Band of Outsiders. I’m little and they fit me the best. Oh, and if I find myself at Bloomingdale’s, I must stop at 40 Carrots (my favorite frozen yogurt).

Q: Who taught you what you know about style?
Growing up, I spent a lot of time traveling and listening to music. Both of these are incredible influences in my life. I like to think that my style has been slowly crafted by the numerous places I’ve visited and the music that’s inspired me. It’s hard not to be shaped by activities that have consumed such a large part of my life.
