Q: Who would you like to have next to you in the airplane?

Tom Hardy.

Q: What are your favorite hotels in the world? What is it that you like about them?

Hotel Belvedere in Mykonos, cause there’s something nice to see. Chateau Marmot in Los Angeles, Fasano in Rio de Janeiro, Post Ranch Inn in Big Sur, Mercer Hotel in New York; we love these hotels because there are nice people, a relaxed atmosphere, chic décor and 24h room service.

Q: Forget about the experts. What is your solution to the problem of jet lag?

Sleeping on the airplane and swimming. Water assists jet lag fatigue.

Q: Favorite brand of luggage and why?

Dsquared…we are getting a good discount.

Q: Which is the one place that you never want to see in your life again?

Dusseldorf—the name says a lot.

Q: Most overrated and most underrated destination in the world?

Overrated: Miami. Underrated: Vietnam.

Q: You always shop till you drop when you visit…

Tokyo.

Q: If you were to run your own hotel it would definitely be…

A private island in the Far East.

Q: What kind of traveler are you?

Adventurous.

Q: How difficult are you to please as a hotel guest?

Difficult. From 1 to 10…10.

Q: Restaurant/bar/spa where you are always looking forward to returning?

The Fairmont, the Sure Club in London and a bar in Gramercy Park in NY.

Q: Most breathtaking scenery that you recall?

Landing with a private helicopter on a completely desolate beach called White Heaven, in Australia.

Q: The world’s best kept travel secret is…

The VIP concierge service provided by Air Canada, Lufthansa, Emirates, and British Airways.

Q: One word of advice from you to all the fellow travelers.

Don’t pack heavy. No checking bags=shop!
